How do you people feel about the "N" word? Why do you think it is commonly used by the Black community?
Slave owners usually called the slaves N iggers and now us Black people call each other Niggaz as a slang word for my Brotha or my Sistah, I don't get it. Slave owners used this word to describe an ignorant Black person. I find it offensive, demeaning, and derogatory. I however do not use this word and I hate it when other Black people use this word or call me a N igga. I don't like it!
It seems to be a word with different meanings for different people.
If it was me I would try to determine the intent of the person using the word. If it was just meanin bro or sis, then I would just forget it. If it was meant to be mean, then I would react different.
Personally I don't like the word cuz it seems to carry really bad connotations and seems like u are degrading someone.
